With each passing year, Arha cultivated empathy, determination, intelligence, honesty, and emotional balance in the women who needed a helping hand to get out of their fear. She impacted the lives of more than thousands of women. The different communities came forward to provide her with necessities like a home. She respectfully refused to take it and continued to live amongst the women in the community centers.
The women were in awe of him. Many women would wait before taking meals. She made friends with almost every woman. But they were unaware she had sleepless and foodless nights many times. Arha put her soul into doing this noble work.
One day, she met a teen girl whose parents disowned her because she faced molestation by a friend who belonged to an influential family. To protect themselves, her family decided to get rid of her. One night, she overheard their conversation and ran away from the house. Arha had tears in her tears hearing her story. She tried to comfort her, but she was uncontrollable. She refused to eat or drink anything.
Arha was in a challenging situation and felt helpless. After much effort, she started talking with her and shared her story. The girl heard her story devotedly till the end and asked Arha about her parents. Arha's eyes were already brimming with tears as it was the first time she shared her story with anyone after the incident. The girl hugged her tightly, and both of them cried out.
Another woman from the community told the girl that Arha was an orphan. The girl felt the floor slipping under her feet. She realized if Arha could shoo away fear, she could do that too. The girl ran to Arha and told her she wanted to pursue her career and upgrade her skills. Arha jumped with happiness and discussed her about her interests.
Soon, the girl got into a graduate college and continued her studies. Arha felt relieved after this incident, as it was the first time she had to help a teenager. It was a victory for her.
One day, while engrossed in her routine work, Arha received a phone call from one of the community leaders. He told her about her selection for the Real Heroes Award. She got confused at first. The lady detailed her that someone from the community nominated Arha's name for this award.
The day of glory arrived for Arha, and she went to the award ceremony. In her speech, she mentioned the community being the real wealth she earned with her trust and determination over all these years. She did not talk about herself in her oration. It showed her humbleness and how devoted she was to helping the women. Her speech followed a loud applause.
Arha learned to live with her head high and empowered women like her to do the same. "Her prosperity is those women who fought their fear and lived a standard life," said Arha in her interview.
