Blogchatter Bloghop : The Sinister Doll

Late at midnight, when I engrossed myself in the book as it was the thrilling part of the novel, the doorbell rang, and lights flickered. It frightened me, and a chill ran down my spine. Mustering a little courage, I got up to open the door. I made sure to carry a knife to stay prepared for an attack if required.  I hid the knife behind my back, holding it in my right hand. I unbolted the door and found no one on the door. As I was about to close the door, my eyes fell on a nicely packed box with wrapping paper with a print of my favorite cartoon character, Pooh. It left me baffled, but I picked up the box to take that inside, bolting the door again, ensuring to bolt every latch and lock for safety. Instead of keeping the knife in its place, I rushed to the dining table and kept the box on it. I had an eerie feeling seeing the box because I did not find any note or card on the box. It appeared as if the box stared back at me the way I kept staring at it before deciding to open it. ...

She started pursuing her hobbies, like writing, reading, cooking new dishes, and dance fitness. She enhanced her sleep cycle and happiness with time and family bonding. Here are the tips she wanted ...

Blogchatter Bloghop: An Unsent Love Letter

January, the year merely started, and Avni, who was back from her much-needed vacation, found the cluttered desk unnoticed for the past month due to work pressure and her episodes of long sitting with her laptop, taking office calls, and working tirelessly. Every morning, she would wake up with a thought to clean the mess and set up her desk. Days passed, but the motivation did not touch her, and her desk kept getting more chaotic. It was the third weekend of the year when she decided to finish her long-pending writing piece. She woke and glanced at her work desk, and her face turned sulky. She cribbed herself for neglecting to declutter her favorite space.  She thumped on the floor out of the bed and walked straight to her desk instead of continuing her morning routine. She saw a pile of books, a laptop, a planner, a journal, papers, and attractive stationary items. The things she would feel proud of appeared messy to her eyes. Without taking herself on a guilt trip, she started t...

They have days when they do not feel like doing things in a routine pattern. So, what do they do on a lazy day? Let's dive deep into it. Being a blogger, I know it is challenging to skip writing. But there are days when I feel lethargic and miss writing that masterpiece. Usually, a lazy day comes with more of a responsibility to immerse myself in chores that I put off for weekends or the days I will be free. It is a habit to keep oneself engaged.  Resting or lazying, doing nothing is pretty tricky. It becomes a habit with time to keep oneself busy with various tasks as planned. So, without further ado, let me tell you different things I do on a lazy day: Spend More Time Reading Reading is one of my favorite activities to immerse myself and be in bed with a pleasing book. When I feel lazy, I recharge my soul by reading books as they ignite ideas and creativity...

Blogchatter Blog Hop: 6 Tips for Ensuring Internet Safety

Image
Is the internet a bane or a boon? It is one of the most asked questions of the decade, with the advancements in technology and digitalization of all sorts. Life without the Internet seems vague. With benefits come its drawbacks.  Let me guide you through 6 ways to ensure internet safety at home, school, office, and public places: Be Cautious of What You Click These days one of the most common ways to fall into a trap is to click undesirable links received on mail, messages, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, or any other social media channel. I wonder what if it had a slogan, would it be, "You are just a click away from falling into a trap." It is the main route to cyber scams like your bank account getting vacated with one click or you registering for some loan through a malicious application that can track all your private data, including contacts and bank details. It can happen in cases related to credit cards, a loan EMI, etc.  To prevent this, instead of directly click...
