Blogchatter Blog Hop: Does A Blogger Have A Lazy Day?

Blogging is a therapy. But do the bloggers take a day off? Or do they have days of lows? Of course, bloggers are also human. They have days when they do not feel like doing things in a routine pattern. So, what do they do on a lazy day?

Let's dive deep into it.

Being a blogger, I know it is challenging to skip writing. But there are days when I feel lethargic and miss writing that masterpiece. Usually, a lazy day comes with more of a responsibility to immerse myself in chores that I put off for weekends or the days I will be free. It is a habit to keep oneself engaged.

Resting or lazying, doing nothing is pretty tricky. It becomes a habit with time to keep oneself busy with various tasks as planned. So, without further ado, let me tell you different things I do on a lazy day:

Spend More Time Reading

Reading is one of my favorite activities to immerse myself and be in bed with a pleasing book. When I feel lazy, I recharge my soul by reading books as they ignite ideas and creativity. I try to wrap with my reading, which sometimes takes a back seat due to workload and plenty of writing, participating in various blog hops. After all, they are irresistible.

Me Time to Introspect

It provides space for more time with self. While working and engaging in writing, I often feel lost in a distinct world. So, to keep track of my well-being and soul, I spend more time introspecting on my progress and find myself from the crowd where I may get missed.

It helps me rejuvenate and restart from where I left off. It inspires me to hustle to achieve what I planned or seek to receive.

Scroll Reels

It happens by default with a vast content available online. One cannot resist until a fair share of time passes. Sometimes, I even feel guilty about spending my free time scrolling reels and not finding a motivation for my content. But other times, it may deliver a pleasing experience of knowing and accepting things I was trying to avert.

Planning What To Do Next

A lazy day calls for some planning. Indeed, planning leads to more productivity, and it is a crucial part of the life of a blogger to continue in the long run. A defined plan is a must.

So, when I am not blogging, I schedule the list for my next set of content.

Cleaning the Mess

How could I not add it? Work days and blogging often lead to a lack of time for cleaning the mess. By mess, I refer to a cluttered wardrobe, disorganized work desk, unclean bookshelf, and the list never ends. Living in the city comes with a cost. Polluted air and dust particles become your forever companion.

Cleaning my room helps me feel happy and organized. It empowers me to look on the positive side of being a self-made person.

In conclusion, I wish to add that a lazy day is not only about lying in bed the whole day. But it is more about catching up with pending tasks on your list. I feel blessed to live a life where I can control and express my emotions when demanded. It is what I received from my writing journey.

Tell me about your experience on a lazy day.
