The pages of the parchment diary were flipped over to show eight distinct fantasy stories that occurred on the eight planets in various narrative styles. Review

It is a short book full of adventure, suspense, thrill, mystery, and action. The plot of the book is engaging and with interesting characters and locations. The book title includes "Octavian Helixes," which means eight helixes, i.e., the eight worlds picturized in the book.

The book revolves around the protagonist, Ella, and the supporting characters she meets in eight fictional lands discovered by the author's imagination. The author created magic by developing different worlds, creatures, and varied locations. The world made of meteors that got renovated. How amusing is this idea?

The author's imagination is the root of this book. The readers of science fiction will love the book. Though the book appears slow-paced for a few moments, yet its action and suspense will drive the readers through the journey.

The protagonist concludes,

“Mirror, mirror on the wall,

Tell me, how to respond to the galactic call?

I know I am not alone, but,

I do believe in the parallel world; I have a clone.”

The readers will have to emphasize the following points:

  • The readers will be thrilled with the author's creativity to prevent readers from guessing what comes next.

  • It is thoughtful that science fiction comes with themes like belonging, friendship, and identity. From the beginning of the book, the readers will notice the protagonist is to find her identity and belongingness in her world and the new worlds she gets into.

  • The book leaves a lesson to never lose hope even in the most challenging situations with the journey and determination of the protagonist.

For the sci-fi lovers and young readers, this book is a recommendation. It is full of suspense, thrill, and action that will keep you intact.
