BlogchatterA2Z: Judge Your Mistakes
When it is about finding mistakes, it seems easy when you have to look at others. But, ever wondered about your mistakes?
Did you try to mitigate your mistakes instead of pointing out others?
I think it would be a 50-50 response. So, in this chapter, you will get introduced to the concept of "Judge Your Mistakes."
It sounds a little crazy. Why would you find mistakes in yourself? Or will you? If you answered Yes, you are going in the right direction to lead a happy life. But if you replied in negation, you should get alert with the need of the hour to look into your mistakes. If you can find out your mistakes, you will eventually improve. It is a necessity to improve and excel in life.
Who will feel happy about one's mistakes? What to do if you find your mistakes?
I am sure you will have these two questions in your mind. Before answering these questions, let me build the concept.
You come across different people in life. Some pass by you, some stay for a short time, while some stay forever. Likewise, some mistakes pass by, some keep you awake, while some last forever as lessons for a lifetime. Do not feel confused. I will explain in brief.
The mistakes that pass by are the ones you realize as soon as you make them. For example, a school kid copying what the teacher writes on the board incorrectly. Soon, the kid erases and writes the correct spelling.
The mistakes that keep you awake are the ones you understand how to correct, and you have limited time. For example, in the exam hall, you know an answer from the middle part but forget the beginning. You know the time is limited and focuses on recalling the beginning. If you can remember it, you write in time. Otherwise, you compose what you recollect to at least get step marks.
The mistakes that last forever as lessons are the ones you should not repeat in life and the big mistakes you feel guilty about. For example, you steal money from your house and get trapped with bad boys gang. You inform your parents about what you did to get saved. It is a traumatic condition for you. You receive the lesson for life to follow the path of honesty.
Now you will understand the importance of the questions mentioned above. I would suggest writing your answer to these questions before reading what I will write:
Who will feel happy about one's mistakes?
You will feel happy about your mistake. Do you remember the feeling you get when someone embarrasses you by pointing out your mistakes in front of everyone? I bet you never liked that. But if you find your errors, you can improve them in time.
What to do if you find your mistakes?
If you find your mistakes, you should look for ways to correct them. Do not feel ashamed of your mistakes. As a famous quote says, "Mistakes are the best teachers." What you will learn from them can not be taught by anyone. If you need help, go for it. But, to improve is your duty.
The conclusion of the concept "Judge Your Mistakes" goes like this:
To lead a happy life, you should own your mistakes, judge them and improve yourself to become a better person. Accept when you are wrong. It will make your life easy.
Live with lessons, not the guilt.
