Book Review: Words Are Birds

Words are Birds by Sameer Kapoor is a poetry book. This book has 41 poems in all.

Let me start with the appearance of book, holding this book in hand made me feel blessed and smiling with turning each page. The book is beautifully crafted with art work and poems. It is mesmerizing.

Then comes the poems, the book is short and each poem is single page except for one. While reading the poems I was literally visualizing the motive behind the poem. I would like to highlight best three that I liked:
1. Wish I - Though there were three poems with I wish/ Wish I but the one I liked most was "I wish my heart was ....." In this the poet has expressed how heart has to become harsh out of all good things to be strong.
2. Life is a Challenge - I loved the way it is written and the ending is what makes it to be loved more.
3. Without U - Verses with emotions along with nature. It is superb.

I liked this poetry book very much and I am happy that I bought it from #NDWBF23. It was a good choice.

So, all the readers out there, grab this beautiful book to have a mesmerizing feeling and a peaceful time.

I’m participating in #TBRChallenge2023.
