Review
Going Beyond Impossibilities by Abha Jha is a short yet impactful book that explores the ideas and themes to challenge impossibilities (which is a mere thought and more of what humans think about tasks when they consider themselves weak or vulnerable to be able to complete them.)
The major idea of the book comes from the author's life, when she found herself trapped due to an injury that left her bedridden and demanding support to do her daily chores. In this book, she shared how things she thought would be impossible to do due to her injury made her learn about her capabilities and abilities, and most importantly, allowed her to find an opportunity to write this book when things appeared shattered before her.
The author's writing style is straightforward and supported by her experience and examples from her life which will make it more relatable for readers and uplift not only their moods but souls as well. With each chapter comes powerful thoughts and a summary at the end to recollect what each chapter meant. She wrote this book engaging and action-oriented.
Readers who feel stuck in life or feel less of themselves will definitely resonate with this book. The best part is the timing of the book. By that I mean, "People do not choose books, books find people," (heard this from an unknown source), and a similar thing happened to me when I started reading this book. So, to conclude, what I mean by timing is that it will be a good gift to uplift someone who feels stuck in life. Because, often, when there are problems in life, many give up, considering that things are impossible for them after that one breakthrough. But, dear readers, life is not only about pleasing sunshine. It comes with its storms and harsh coldness. That is the impact this book leaves on the readers.
The overall experience of reading this book is a reminder of the beliefs we have that we tend to forget in times of trouble.
