Blogchatter Blog Hop: In the World Bereft Of Books

In a world bereft of books,

I wonder how written verses

Would have traversed?

Without them writing stories,

No one will find a new perspective

Is that what it would bring?

A lot of chaos in minds,

May be introvert won't find

A place to survive in bookless world!

Lack of knowledge and diversity,

With illiteracy and agony

I see it as what would prevail!

No more fight to grab as many books,

Reading will be forgotten ritual

And the conversation will only remain!

I'm worried how they would turn and twist,

The long back history and past times

As the men part of it no more exist!

Or would it introduce human library,

Where you can come and go

Listening and sharing the unheard stories!

If so happened knowledge may sustain,

Yet what books can bring and leave

For the longest of times, it cannot!

Several stories and poems would be created,

Those who can share will win hearts

For those who won't would let their work discard!

It's so scary to imagine it,

I wish never should I land,

In the world bereft of books!
