My Thoughts About the Book

As I started reading this book, I wondered if it would be like any other self-help book full of advice and techniques to follow in life. Soon, with the completion of the first chapter viz, Introduction, I found it has something else to offer.

Most of you would be aware of the different skills pursued in day-to-day life for living an adequate lifestyle. After reading this book, I learned that those skills fall in the life skills category. These include communication, empathy, time management, critical thinking, problem-solving, etc.

In this book, the author allows the reader to understand 20 life skills necessary to live a happy and healthy life. I liked the way the author represented each chapter with appropriate representatives. Let me add a spoiler of how examples played a vital role in this book. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the Missile Man of India, represented as a testament to life skills, including goal setting and planning, and leadership and teamwork skills.

Writing a self-help book is an art, and very few can adapt to it with creative writing. So, I would like to say that this book is a wise choice to read to understand the importance of different life skills to practice to accomplish success in all facets of life, including personal, professional, social, mental, and emotional.

One thing that I felt is a common advantage achievable by pursuing different life skills is building confidence.

My Note To the Author

I read this book thoroughly and found chapters 8 and 10 appear to be rephrased versions of each other for Critical Thinking life skills. Please check this out. If it is redundant, I would suggest removing the replica to avoid concerns from fellow readers. Also, I would like to thank you for bringing this book to my notice, as it helped me understand the different life skills I need to build further in life to become a better version of myself.

To the readers out there, check this book if you feel there is something incomplete in your life. I suggest this book because it will help you identify the ways to boost your confidence and reduce stress in your life as a whole.
