BlogchatterA2Z: Yearn to Earn
You always wish to have a life where you have enough to survive. Beyond that, you look for luxury. But did you ever think about earning virtues?
Living a happy life cannot be possible only with money and material treasures. It also needs virtues. Here, I am enlightening the concept "Yearn to Earn."
Often, you run to earn more and more money to add to your wealth. You do not realize until it's too late that the real gold is your virtue. There are ample opportunities to earn treasures. But very few chances to accumulate integrity.
If you want to make a happy world, you have to yearn to earn virtues. It includes kindness, compassion, dignity, honesty, and many more. With time, you come across different qualities. If you are smart enough, you accumulate them in your treasure. If you hold virtue, you can win people, things, and everything you desire.
With a lack of virtue, you cannot stand a chance to live by purity. It is something you earn with time. You may be born with it, but carrying it with you is your choice that comes when you understand morality.
In childhood, you are unaware of the value of money, treasure, and virtues. I recall my childhood when one rupee was enough to make me happy. I never thought of having more of it. Likewise, I did not know about treasures, be they gold, silver, or any material.
I heard the word virtue for the first time in the quote, "Virtue has its own reward," which I delivered in the morning assembly. I did not realize then what a great thought I was sharing with everyone.
Why am I telling you this?
I want to focus on the earning of virtues. You experience lessons from different incidents in your life but rarely carry those lessons with you. In each incident, there hides a quality. If you smartly earn it from there, you win. If you do not, you may or not get another chance to embrace it.
The reason for telling you this is to make you conscious of what you can miss if you do not understand the importance of learning from your experiences. Starting from childhood till your old age, you discover different things. Sometimes, people help you by adding knowledge to your life. Other times, you do it by yourself.
So, start today yearning to earn. Not just money and power but virtues as well.
To conclude "Yearn To Earn":
To lead a happy life, you have to hold on to your virtues rather than holding back luxuries. If you own qualities, you become unstoppable in achieving everything you desire. Your honesty, patience, morality, and dignity will make you shine brighter and add feathers to your wings.
Happiness lies in your virtues.
