In a hectic lifestyle, you often forget to take care of yourself, and the excuse that comes does not have time for all this. Do you ever miss brushing your teeth in the morning when you get late? No, right! It is because it is your habit. A habit becomes a necessity.
This chapter is "Make It A Habit."
These days, lifestyle is highly changed if compared with the past years. Due to this, you face several problems like pollution, harsh weather conditions, and much more. These things can change, but with the collaborative actions of everyone around, and not only by your or my efforts. So, it is a solution at a large scale that will get achieved with regulations set by the leaders. But you have to take care of yourself. It is in your hands.
If you change and implement a few practices in your daily routine, you can gift yourself a better life. Even with the deteriorating environment caused by human activities, you can improve your lifestyle to some extent. To achieve this, you require to build habits.
What kind of habits?
I will give my example here. I want to be fit to avoid health issues as one ailment invites the other. For this, I started exercising at home for at least 25-30 minutes. I used to wake up at 6 in the morning. Under the open sky, spreading my yoga mat, I would start with stretching, the main workout, and the cooldown. It helped me a lot with better breathing and eating adequately. Today, when I see myself, I am doing better and able to give at least 1 hour to exercise, be it dancing, cardio, walking, or strength training.
I wanted to be fit. I made it a habit to exercise and eat what is good for me.
Similarly, there are other things that you can think of for which you are struggling to add to your routine. It is as simple as that. Make it a habit. When you receive the results of your habits, you will feel happy and satisfied with choosing them. Several addictions can ruin your body, but the addiction to following your passion and building habits can help you be a better human being.
Introduce yourself with the new you, and you will be happy.
Concluding "Make it a Habit":
To lead a happy life, you should introduce yourself with habits. By habits, I mean something you wish but cannot do due to time constraints or numerous other excuses. If you implement them in your routine, no one can stop you from pursuing them.
Maintain habits to build yourself.
