"What is a peaceful moment?" Chaya asked.

"Seeing a little baby growing each day not realizing how fast the time passes is a peaceful moment let leaves us thinking and wondering about each moment of the process of growth from a little kid to an adult until we become self-sufficient and lose our tenderness as a baby," Riya replied and did not realize they were sitting in their college auditorium and everybody else was listening to her along with Chaya until a loud applause broke the silence when the theatre team cheered for her analogy of a peaceful moment.

"We got the perfect play script idea." Sumit, the director of the play, cheered. Everyone looked at Riya with love and congratulated her that her idea was chosen for the script of their annual cultural fest play. Riya was clueless about what happened and smiled forcefully so as to not hurt the feelings of her mates. Chaya ran to her, held both hands, and did a circle moment saying, "Riya, we were struggling to finalize the idea for the past week, and see you came and the problem was solved. I kept telling you to join me for theatres and you never listened to me. See, now you will get the lead role I am sure." Riya started feeling dizzy due to the continuous round motion and fell on the floor. Chaya picked her up and made her sit on the steps of the stage.

"What was everyone saying? I don't know what just happened. Why was everyone congratulating me?" Riya questioned, and Chaya laughed at her innocence. "What now? Why are you laughing?" Riya enquired. Chaya could not hold her laughter until Riya gave her a stern look. Chaya stopped laughing and told Riya that the answer she gave to her question fitted into the mind of the director about the play. Since this year's annual fest was around Mother's Day her idea turned out the perfect fit for their play. "What?" Riya yelled and got up. "Yes, yes, yes," Chaya confirmed.

Riya ran towards the gate and went to the playground from the auditorium. Chaya did not follow her as she knew what was wrong with Riya, and she needed time to process it. Riya had lost a baby sister, and she missed her so much because she treated her like her own baby when she was born. She could not bear the loss and every time anything reminded her of her baby sister she would look for a secluded place to sit and cry whole-heartedly. She never told this to Chaya but Chaya got to know about it from Riya's mother, so she respected the boundary and waited for the right moment when Riya would open her heart and share her pain with her.

Riya sat by a tree and hugged it tightly. She sobbed and sobbed until the sunset, and it was time to return to the hostel. She wiped her tears and washed her face from the tap near the tree in the ground.
