BlogchatterA2Z: Create a Positive Environment

Surroundings play a vital role in setting your mood. When you are calm, your productivity increases, but panicking destroys the focus. In general, when there is pressure. You take more time to achieve the outcome. You would be wondering about the situation when this happened.

It sets the building block of the third chapter of this book, i.e., "Create a Positive Environment."

How to establish a positive environment? It is the question you need to ask yourself.

A positive environment gives you happiness, keeps you calm, and motivates you to achieve more. Since childhood, you would have come across different circumstances that you can compare now to define fair and adverse conditions. And the way they impacted your life. So, what do you think suits you to get a favorable outcome?

The answer would be, of course, a positive atmosphere.

Let me create a situation when it happens. You are working in a giant MNC on a client-based project. The project development is in its last phase and needs to be delivered in working condition soon. A few weeks before the delivery, several bugs ran into the software. The client came up with escalations, and higher management got involved. It created pressure on the project management and the team, resulting in a quick fix leading to adding more bugs and a tense environment. The team's productivity declined, and minimal issues burned more time.

So, now you see how a positive environment does matter?

Now let me answer the question, how to create a positive environment?

It is all in mind. Think about the impact due to delayed tasks. Analyze the parameters that can cause indecisiveness. Based on this thought process, draw your attention towards setting a positive environment and check to mark the following factors if you fit in them:

  • Surround yourself with motivated people who will help you lift up and not descend.
  • Create a work desk that will pull you to work every day. If you need motivational quotes, put them on your desk. Plants give positivity too. You can add indoor plants to your desk. Based on your preference, prepare your desk.

(I have a pen holder with sticky notes and plants near my work desk to make me work peacefully.)

  • Write the tasks you wish to accomplish and keep them on your desk. Strikethrough the tasks you finish.

You can add more points to it and establish the best work environment.

The conclusion of "Create A Positive Environment" is:

To lead a happy life, you have to stay calm and peaceful. And to achieve this, a positive environment is a necessity.

Build an empire of your own.
